State Agency Directories Updated, Available in APA's Resource Library

State payroll compliance can be challenging when you have employees working in new states or you have difficult questions. Knowing where to go for information can help in these situations.

APA provides state agency directories on its website to help payroll professionals find the contact information they need to get their questions answered. The directories are now available in the Resource Library (located under the News & Resources heading on the APA home page). Select Web Links-State to access the following state directories:

• Child Support Enforcement Agencies
• Income Tax Withholding Agencies
• New Hire Reporting Agencies
• Unclaimed Property Agencies
• Unemployment Insurance Agencies
• Wage and Hour Agencies

Each directory provides the state agency name, address, phone number, fax number, email address, and website address (if available). The information has been recently updated for 2023.
