Payroll Compliance News for Members

Each issue of Payroll Currently includes concise explanations of the latest rules and regulations from the Internal Revenue Service, Social Security Administration, U.S. Department of Labor (DOL), and other federal agencies. Relevant court decisions are also analyzed. This information helps you understand the regulatory changes affecting payroll tax withholding, reporting, and depositing, and keeps you in compliance.

This free member benefit also includes “Inside Washington” – the latest from the APA’s Government Relations office – state and local news, and occasional special reports. Members receive an email when new issues are available. Included with the email is a link to APA’s Compliance Calendar.

Issue 1 Features New Forms, Mileage Rate

The January issue of Payroll Currently (Issue 1, Vol. 31) covers new forms released by the IRS for 2022 and 2023 as well as announcing the 2023 mileage rate. The issue also covers guidance on the final regulations that extend the time to furnish Affordable Care Act forms to individuals.
