On May 10-13, the American Payroll Association (APA) and the Global Payroll Management Institute (GPMI) will hold the Payroll Congress Convention & Expo in Las Vegas. For 40 years, the Congress has been the payroll profession’s premier educational event and an eagerly awaited training and networking opportunity for APA members, their colleagues, and allied professionals in accounts payable, finance, HR, and benefits.

On April 13, Dr. Kilolo Kijakazi, Acting Commissioner of the Social Security Administration (SSA), will present “Leadership Perspectives: Modernizing Policies and Procedures to Improve Business Services.” Attendees will learn what SSA is doing to reach its goals; more about the SSA’s modernization project and payroll engagement; and services and resources available to payroll professionals.
