APA Webinar Explains Changes to Form 941-X, Other Payroll Developments
On October 14, APA will present the webinar Payroll in 2020 – Developments Through the 3rd Quarter. This webinar will update attendees on the latest COVID-19-related guidance and will focus on the recently revised Form 941-X, Adjusted Employer’s Quarterly Federal Tax Return or Claim for Refund.
The webinar will also discuss the employee social security tax deferral that is available on applicable wages paid between September 1 and December 31, 2020. The IRS recently updated Form 941, Employer’s Quarterly Federal Tax Return, to accommodate reporting the tax deferral. Attendees will learn about the changes to Form 941 and the anticipated changes to Form 941-X that will correspond to the revised Form 941.

The webinar will be offered in two formats: live and on demand. The live webinar will be presented on October 14, 2020, from 1:00 – 2:30 p.m. ET. The webinar will be available on demand, beginning October 28.
