Wage and Hour Summit Webinars On Demand

Wage and Hour Summit is the course that every payroll and HR professional needs in order to better understand the Fair Labor Standards Act and State Wage-Hour requirements.

During the Wage and Hour Summit you'll find answers to the big questions, including:
  • When is an employee exempt from wage and hour laws?
  • What calculations are required when paying an employee overtime?
  • When is an employee considered working?
  • When must an employee be compensated for not working?

Course Outlines
Format

The Webinars are delivered over the Internet. The program is downloaded to your computer and it starts playing as the downloading continues in the background. The process requires a high-speed Internet connection and Windows Media Player 9 or higher. For each segment for which you have registered, you will receive an e-mail with instructions and links to download course materials, access for one Webinar viewing, and a questionnaire for evaluating the Webinar. Once you have completed the evaluation you can print a completion certificate. 

 

Webinar Availability

The four segments can be viewed through December 31, 2010. The programs will be available for purchase until December 19, 2010 and must be viewed by December 31, 2010.

Recertification Credit Hours
If you purchase and view all four segments, you will earn a total of 6 RCHs or 0.6 CEUs (1.5 RCHs or 0.15 CEUs for each individual segment).

Registration/Fees
Fees include all meeting materials. You will receive e-mail confirmation of your registration after your registration information and payment have been received and processed. If you have not received e-mail confirmation of your registration in three days, please call APA Membership Services at (210) 224-6406, M - F, 8 a.m. - 6 p.m. CT, to confirm your registration.

Transfers/Substitutions
Substitutions must be received within 24 hours of purchase AND prior to product activation. To request a transfer/substitution, please notify APA by fax at (210) 224-6038 or by letter with the following information: original course code; course name; new (transfer) course code if applicable; original registrant's name; new (substitution) registrant's name if applicable; title; company name; full street address; and phone number.

Cancellations
Cancellations must be received within 24 hours of purchase AND prior to product activation.
