The employee will apply their accounting skills, payroll processing experience, multi-state employment tax knowledge, and their wage and hour compliance background to assist the department in realizing payroll best practices. This includes the preparation of documents and information required for processing of payroll; the filing and logging of information stored in personnel files; disbursement of payroll on a periodic basis and ensuring information is held in a confidential manner. Associate's Degree (preferably in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration) or equivalent work experience required; 2-5 years in-house payroll processing experience in a multi-company, and multi-provincial environment required.

Payroll Analyst, Children's Hospital Colorado, Aurora, CO

The Payroll Analyst is responsible for all payroll-related processing, compiling payroll data, error reconciliation, maintenance of payroll records, and reviewing statistics and analytics. This position analyzes and resolves discrepancies and ensures legislative compliance along with consistent adherence to internal pay practices and company guidelines and policies. High school diploma or GED required. At least five years of in-house (high-volume) payroll processing and training experience required. PeopleSoft and Kronos experience preferred. A degree will substitute for experience on a year-for-year basis.

Top priorities include customer service, timely and accurate payroll processing, participating in initiatives and business priorities, and exercising payroll expertise.
