The Assistant Director of Payroll is the operations manager for all payroll staff and activities in the Evanston and Chicago Offices and subject matter expert regarding payroll development in FASIS. This individual will establish and manage office standard operating procedures, policies, service standards, and the application of the federal, state, local, and international payroll tax compliance requirements to ensure that payrolls are processed timely; run successfully; and are in compliance with regulatory requirements, labor and tax laws, and university policies and procedures. The Payroll and A/P Specialist is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of payroll for all CTCA employees as well as follow-up for vendors and managers regarding any accounts payable, budget, or financial statement concerns. The Payroll and A/P Specialist works with Kronos and ADP, and across all areas of the corporation. Optimizes payment of invoices, expenses, and check requests through a timely and accurate data entry and reconciliation process. Responsibility also includes acting as a contact resource for corporate finance and treasury issuers.
