The Rockport Company has an immediate need for a Global Payroll Manager as we migrate from a shared services payroll model to a stand-alone payroll function. Reporting to the Head of Global Human Resources, the successful candidate will be responsible for both domestic and international payroll processes, including the U.S., Canada, and European countries. As an integral member of the team, you will evaluate and assist in the selection of a new payroll vendor such as iiPay, Celergo, or Ultima and lead the implementation of a new system for the newly established entity. The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is looking to hire an advanced-level Business Systems Manager. The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a senior PeopleSoft Financials Business Systems Manager for University Procurement. The position will supervise a team of business analysts who are tasked with ensuring enterprise financial success in these areas.The role will lead business analyst teams to develop and implement integrated solutions across all Financial Management System (FMS) and Human Resources (HR) modules. The position will serve as a cross-campus change agent in developing, implementing, and communicating new processes and systems. The position will identify high-level business and information system requirements and lead efforts to evaluate functionality and develop strategies. The position will also negotiate resolutions of conflicting requirements and will recommend business process changes where applicable. This position will have knowledge of external trends and best practices. The growth and complexity of the ConnectCarolina system has necessitated an organizational structure with four Business Systems Managers reporting to the Director of Finance Business Analysis. This will allow the Director to work more strategically across the organization while these managers can provide day-to-day supervision of business analysis functions.
