Kronos Payroll Education Grants.

Application Form and Complete Instructions

 

APA and Kronos Payroll Education Grants will be presented at the 26th Annual APA Congress in Austin, Texas, May 13-17, 2008.

 

APA Payroll Education Grants:

  • One Complete APA Payroll Training Package
  • Two APA Course/Conference Grants
  • Three The Payroll Source® Grants

Kronos Payroll Education Grants:

  • One Kronos Payroll Education Grant
  • One Kronos Payroll Publication Grant

The APA Education Grants are presented each year to six outstanding members of the Association in recognition of their professional and personal commitment to continuing education. The six grants include:

 

One Complete APA Payroll Training Package entitling the recipient to the following:

  1. Registration, round-trip airfare, and hotel accommodations (up to five nights) for the 26th Annual Congress in Austin, Texas (travel itinerary must be approved by APA);
  2. Registration for any or all APA seminars for one year, beginning with the 26th Annual Congress and including courses at the Payroll Learning Centers in San Antonio, Texas, or Las Vegas, Nevada (not including travel or hotel expenses);
  3. A complete library of current APA books and publications, plus PayTrain®.

Two APA Course/Conference Grants

Entitles two recipients to a free registration for any one APA course or conference of their choice. This grant is good for one year, from May 13, 2008, through May 12, 2009. The free registrations do not include travel or hotel accommodations.

 

Three The Payroll Source® Grants

Awards three recipients a free copy of the current edition of The
Payroll Source
®, APA's leading reference text.

 

The Kronos Payroll Education Grants  were established by Kronos Incorporated in 2004 to help its customers by providing opportunities for education. Learning how to meet the latest payroll compliance challenges and how to apply industry best practices is critical to the success of Kronos' customers. The two grants include:

 

One Kronos Payroll Education Package

Entitles the recipient to the following:

  1. Registration, round-trip airfare, and hotel accommodations (up to five nights) for the 26th Annual Congress in Austin, Texas (travel itinerary must be approved by Kronos);
  2. A complete library of current APA books and publications, plus PayTrain®.

The Payroll Education Grants were established by the American Payroll Association in 1992 to honor its founder and first president, the late Donald W. Sharper, CPP. The grants are designed to encourage professional growth through APA's payroll training and educational offerings.
