GRTF IRS Issues Subcommittee

Do you want to discuss IRS reporting and withholding issues with your fellow payroll professionals? Would you like to provide comments to IRS officials on proposed regulations affecting employers? Do you have specific IRS issues that your payroll department struggles with daily?

These are among several of the items the IRS Issues subcommittee addresses. If you are interested in being an integral part of these and future discussions, consider joining the IRS Issues subcommittee of APA's Government Relations Task Force.

Future APA representatives to the Information Reporting Program Advisory Committee (IRPAC), IRS Advisory Council (IRSAC), and Electronic Tax Administration Advisory Committee (ETAAC) may be expected to be drawn from this subcommittee.

Subcommittee Leadership

Co-chairing the subcommittee are Becky Harshberger, CPP and Stephanie Salavejus, CPP, both of whom currently serve on IRS advisory committees. IRPAC helps to resolve information reporting issues of mutual concern between IRS and the reporting community and IRSAC advises the IRS on issues that have a substantive effect on federal tax administration.

The subcommittee meets the 1st and 3rd Monday of every month at 4:00 eastern.
