The Chapter Relations Department is dedicated to supporting its 101 local chapters and their volunteers. PayrollOrg and its local chapter leaders have put together resources for many areas of leading a chapter, including the Local Chapter Guide, the Chapter Leaders Blog, the Chapter Study Group Guide, and much more. A directory of all PayrollOrg guides, references, forms, and support for local chapter leaders appears below.

In addition, chapter leaders can find a wealth of helpful information in the Local Chapter Guide and are required to review key sections annually.

Chapter Leader Guides & Resources


Chapter Administration

  • Apply for Chapter Reaffiliation – Chapters must apply for reaffiliation annually to update PayrollOrg on their officers and reaffirm their compliance to PayrollOrg guidelines.
  • Apply for New Chapter Affiliation – New chapters must apply for affiliation with PayrollOrg.
  • Board of Advisors – Find the Advisor for your region and their contact information. (You can learn more about your Advisor by reading their Q&A post on the Chapter Leaders Blog.)
  • CHAMPS Referral Program – Submit a question on chapter management to the CHAMPS Committee to receive advice from an experienced chapter leader.
  • Chapter Leaders Blog – Navigation to our blog with helpful posts on chapter news and guidance, written by PayrollOrg staff, the Board of Advisors, and chapter leaders.
  • Chapter Marketing Guidelines – Guidelines on appropriate usage of the PAYO logo and chapter promotion of PayrollOrg.
  • Chapter Profile Edit Procedures – A step by step walkthrough on updating your chapter profile on the PayrollOrg website.
  • Chapter RCH Guide – A guide on applying for RCH approval as a chapter.
  • Chapter Relations – Email PayrollOrg's Chapter Relations Department.
  • Chapter Study Group Guide – A guide on organizing a successful CPP/FPC study group.
  • Local Chapter Guide – A comprehensive guide on starting and maintaining a PayrollOrg Local Chapter with information on chapter bylaws, budgetary and financial concerns, event guidelines, and more. Chapter officers should review key sections of the guide annually.
  • New Chapter Officer Guide – A guide to help officers and chapters transition responsibilities to newly-elected chapter officers.

Chapter Events and Certification

  • 100 Popular Chapter Meeting Topics – A list of popular educational topics for chapter meetings that qualify for RCHs (request and approval still required).
  • National Speakers Bureau Members and Topics – A list of speakers and their topics which can be requested through PayrollOrg's Speaker Administration Department.
  • Register a Chapter Event – If your chapter is hosting a One-Day Event, Multi-Day Educational Seminar, or Statewide/Regional Meetings, fill out this form 45 prior to the event. Registered chapter events will receive free resources.
  • Request a Speaker – If your chapter needs a speaker, fill out this form 45 days prior to the event to receive assistance from PayrollOrg's Speaker Administration Department.
  • Register a Study Group – If your chapter is hosting a CPP/FPC study group, fill out this form 45 days prior to the first session. Registered study groups will receive free resources.
  • Request RCH Approval – If your chapter's meeting or event qualifies for RCHs, fill out the form contained in the Chapter RCH Guide 45 days prior to the event to receive approval from PayrollOrg's Certification Department.

Marketing

  • Chapter Marketing Guidelines – Guidelines on appropriate usage of the PAYO logo and chapter promotion of PayrollOrg.
  • Local Chapter Guide – A comprehensive guide on starting and maintaining a PayrollOrg Local Chapter with information on chapter bylaws, budgetary and financial concerns, event guidelines, and more. Chapter officers should review key sections of the guide annually.
  • Request a Local Mailing List – If your chapter would like to send its membership benefits or events to local PayrollOrg members, fill out this form for a one-use mailing list. Chapters may request up to two local mailing lists per year.
